Terri Martin

Terri is a freelance journalist and photographer who has been involved in the publishing industry for many years including pioneering roles in Woman’s Value and Playboy. Until recently she was deputy Managing Director of the Times Media Magazines Division, whose magazines include Elle, Longevity and Out There! Previously she was Health Editor for Elle magazine and managing editor for the launch of both Playboy and Penthouse in South Africa.

Terri tackles her photo journalism with a unique sense of wonder for the natural world. She holds a degree in English and psychology and is current studying geology and astronomy. In her writing, she has become an expert in health and lifestyle issues. Her work has been published widely, including in all of the magazines above.
